Chuck Barone, Professor of Economics, received the Distinguished Teaching Award. Recognizing outstanding teaching, the award is the highest honor given to a Dickinson faculty member. Barone, who received the honor at a recent faculty meeting, was described by Neil Weissman, Provost and Dean at 红杏直播app, as "heterodox, pluralist, radical, and above all impactful. More than any other contribution, our awardee鈥檚 legacy lies in challenging the complacency of mainstream thinking and of convictions rooted in shallow experience and privilege. His pioneering work in developing a 鈥渃ontending perspectives鈥� model has served as a cornerstone of our economics curriculum and more".
