Day of Giving Starts Tomorrow

Day of Giving, Tuesday, April 1, No fooling!

Dickinson's kicks off tomorrow—no fooling! Join us on Tuesday, April 1, as we partner with thousands of alumni, parents and friends of the college to move Dickinson forward. This year, we’re aiming for 3,000 donors in a single day.

The Sam Rose ’58 Change a Life Challenge is within reach, and we’re hoping you can help us get there!

Rise to the Challenges

To help you make the most of your gift, the Day of Giving will feature a host of donor-supported challenges, including:

Sam Rose '58 Change a Life Challenge

Last year, Sam pledged to match the next $10 million given toward scholarships. The Dickinson community has already rallied together to bring us within $50,000 of that goal, so now we have the chance to complete Sam's challenge on this year's Day of Giving. Make your scholarship gift now, and you can still double the life-changing impact through Sam's challenge. By generating a total of $20 million, the challenge will also help Dickinson complete its overall $75 million scholarship campaign goal to make sure financial constraints never prevent potential Dickinsonians from joining this community.

Dickinson Fund Challenge

If 500 donors support the Dickinson Fund on Day of Giving, Charlie '65 and Trudy Craig will generously donate $50,000 to the Dickinson Fund in support of the full Dickinson experience.

Young Alumni Challenge

500 more gifts are needed to meet the Young Alumni Challenge! This year, if 1,000 gifts to any purpose from the classes of 2014-2024 are made on or before April 1, 2025, Karen Dougherty Buchholz '88 will generously donate $50,000 to scholarships.

McAndrews Fund for Athletics Challenge

250 donors to the McAndrews Fund will unlock a generous $25,000 challenge gift from the Pugs Foundation.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Challenge

100 donors to the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion or any of its departments will unlock a generous $10,000 from Lauren Ashley Smith '06.

Access & Disability Services Fund Challenge

Nearly 30% of students utilize and have need for services from Access & Disability Services at Dickinson. This challenge seeks to provide the Access & Disability Services Office with the resources to support all types of learners and provide solutions to minimize disability-based access barriers for students. If 50 donors support Access & Disability Services, generous parent donors will give $10,000 to support their work.

Women’s & Gender Resource Center Challenge

An anonymous parent has provided a challenge to support the Women’s & Gender Resource Center, which builds gender education and equality into the life of the institution by providing resources and educational opportunities and by encouraging conversation and dialogue across campus.

Anonymous parent donors will match up to $25,000 for all gifts in support of women's lacrosse.

Men's Lacrosse Challenge
