“Without support to attend Dickinson, I would not have the opportunity to discover so much about the world and my place in it.” —Rebecca Garcia ’24
Thanks to scholarship support, Rebecca Garcia ’24 is forging strong relationships with students and professors at Dickinson. A double major in history and Latin American, Latinx & Caribbean studies, Garcia is involved with Sigma Lambda Gamma, the Latina discussion group and Latin American & Caribbean Club, and she works in the Women’s & Gender Resource Center and the Registrar’s Office. While studying abroad in South America last year, she taught basic English to adults. “I am excited to apply what I’ve learned abroad to my studies on campus,” she says. After graduation, she will teach English in Colombia as a Fulbright ETA.
