Members of the class of 2019 make early connections through the Pre-Orientation Adventure program

鈥淧re-O has been incredible,鈥� says Mikey Marinelli 鈥�19. 鈥淚鈥檝e met some great people, had a great time, and I鈥檓 just really getting used to the atmosphere of Dickinson and loving it.鈥�
Marinelli is one of more than 260 incoming first-year students who arrived on Sunday to participate in the Pre-Orientation Adventure program. From wilderness experiences to entrepreneurship, diversity to dance, the 21 programs offered an array of opportunities for students to kick-start their Dickinson experience by immersing themselves in an aspect of this community about which they are passionate.
鈥淚t鈥檚 been the best experience,鈥� says Amara Rojo 鈥�19. 鈥淓veryone鈥檚 in the same boat as you, you鈥檙e exploring the area and you鈥檙e getting a good feel for what your next four years are going to be like.鈥�
