Tuition Programs

Tuition Exchange to Attend Participating Institutions

was chartered in 1954 and is a national scholarship exchange program for institutions of higher education. The Tuition Exchange program allows dependent children of eligible employees at Dickinson an opportunity to earn a scholarship at numerous participating colleges and universities nationwide. It also allows dependents of staff at the other membership institutions an opportunity to earn a scholarship here at Dickinson.

Eligibility

Eligibility for a Tuition Exchange scholarship is determined the by the Export institution (the home institution, ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app). All ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app full-time employees with one year or more of full-time service are eligible to participate in the .

All scholarships, both incoming and outgoing, are based on the membership institution’s regular admissions processes. Eligibility alone does not guarantee student acceptance into an institution or a scholarship award. Awards are competitive and not automatic. Tuition Exchange participating schools are required to maintain a balance between the number of students sent out and the number it brought in.

What is the dollar value of Tuition Exchange Scholarships?

Scholarships cover full tuition, one-half tuition for a non-resident at a public institution, or the Tuition Exchange set rate determined by The Tuition Exchange. Special fees, course overloads, or room and board charges are not included in the scholarship. Unlike our existing tuition assistance program, our award for Tuition Exchange is the set rate amount of $42,000 for 2024-25 ($43,000 for 2025-26). Most participating institutions provide full tuition scholarships. For 2024-2025, institutions that charge more than $42,000 for tuition are permitted to award less than their full tuition, but not less than $42,000.
