Weekly COVID-19 Update

To the Dickinson community:
By coming together and working together for the common good, we have finished the semester strong. I am so grateful to all of you for following health and safety guidelines that have led to this success.
I am thrilled to honor our graduating seniors on Saturday during the Graduate Recognition Ceremonies and watch them walk down the steps of Old West. While we will be outside and I am confident it will be a gorgeous day, please remember to continue to wear a mask and follow safety guidelines for the day. And be sure to tune in Sunday, May 23 at 2 p.m. eastern for our Virtual Commencement.
COVID-19 testing will continue without change through Wednesday, May 19. The testing center will be closed on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21. Employees who participated in testing this semester are asked to complete the so that we can determine whether ongoing testing is required for you.
Beginning the week of May 24:
- Employees and students who are fully vaccinated do not need to be tested.
- Employees who are not fully vaccinated and work in a position on campus in which they have ongoing contact with others will continue to be tested.
- Students who are not fully vaccinated and remain in residence, or come to campus for classes or work, must continue to be tested.
Summer testing hours will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in ATS.
Anyone coming to campus must continue to complete the (Green Dot) via the Gateway.
Many of you have already submitted your vaccination record. If you have not done so, you may provide it in the following ways:
- Complete the to upload your documentation.
- Email a photo of your card to hrservices@dickinson.edu.
- Ask your supervisor to make a copy for HR.
As we come into the final stretch of this pandemic, I thank you again for the many steps you have taken to keep our campus safe. Thank you for making the very best of this challenging semester.
