Trang Do '23 is the recipient of the 2022 Waidner-Spahr Library's Research Prize for Sophomores and Juniors! The nominated paper was considered outstanding for it's deep, thoughtful analysis of data and other research material.
Jacob Kaufhold ’21 – Jacob is one of five students, and only the second Economics major, who have been selected to attend the highly selective Mansfield College Visiting Student Programme at Oxford. Ellis Tucci '20 - (From Dickinson Today - "A Flight Cheaper Than Lunch")
Economics major Ellis Tucci is highlighted in Dickinson Today's Student Snapshot article "A Flight Cheaper Than Lunch". As mentioned in the article, for almost two years Ellis has been CEO of tech startup Bulletin Technologies, which is a municipal airport ridesharing platform and described by Ellis as an "Uber for planes". Ellis states in the article "Starting and running Bulletin has been one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done, and if it’s taught me anything, it’s that progress is borne of sacrifice."
