Mission

Identify, review, and recommend organizational policies and practices to advance access, belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion for students, faculty, and staff.

Consult, collaborate, and sustain communication with senior leadership, campus experts, students, faculty, and staff, particularly when policies and initiatives impacting access, belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion are being developed or revised, as appropriate.

Promote awareness of issues and resources related to access, belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion across the campus and provide leadership in advocating for advancing change.

Monitor the progress and assess the implementation of Dickinson’s Inclusivity Strategic Plan, and the college-wide Strategic Plan, specifically as it relates to advancing access, belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Understand and improve campus climate as it pertains to access, belonging, diversity, inclusivity, and equity.
