Dickinson’s international business & management major is distinctive and useful. Most liberal arts colleges don't offer a business major. Dickinson does.
Through our renowned faculty, you will explore the key functional areas of business as well as newly emerging trends, issues and strategic challenges confronting business organizations. To further enrich the student experience, our faculty work with faculty and staff responsible for other majors, off-campus internships, study abroad programs and sustainability and community engagement initiatives.
Taken together, coursework and experiential learning will help you cultivate creative and critical-thinking capabilities, facility in foreign language and comfort in roles that call for leadership, teamwork, collaboration and intercultural awareness.
When you graduate, you will be prepared to successfully take first professional steps. As well, you will have the type of strong foundation necessary for lifelong learning and advancement as the 21st century unfolds.
“I love that the major extends the traditional business administration program. You get to learn a variety of subjects within the business world and learn about different subjects that are important to know to have a successful business. I enjoy the international aspect as well—it helps show how globalization has impacted businesses everywhere..”
“I work hard every day to build the future I want.” Meet Sarah Jang ’25, a student-leader and Posse Scholar with a clear vision of her own definition of success
