Data & Scientific Reasoning Lab
The Data and Scientific Reasoning Lab is a computer lab that is part of the Quantitative Reasoning (QR) Center at ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app. The lab is located on the lower level of Waidner-Spahr Library, to the left of the Alden Room.
The purpose of the Data and Scientific Reasoning Lab is to provide a space for students to work with software that is commonly used in quantitative fields. For the Fall 2024 semester, tutors that are able to assist with the following programs regularly offer drop-in support for the following programs:
Programs: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), R, Stata, Python
Fall 2024 Hours: Sunday-Thursdays 7:30-10:30 pm
Fall 2024 Schedule of Tutors:
Some tutors can help with additional programs, such as SQL and Java. This space is available whenever the library is open and students are welcome to use the lab, even when there are no tutors working. There are classes scheduled in the lab during certain parts of the week. For Fall 2024, classes are scheduled in the lab on Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00-10:15am.
There are no tutoring hours in the lab during final exam week, as it is located in the quiet section of the library.
