Driving Directions
On move-in day in August, normal traffic patterns around campus are adjusted, and certain roads are closed to help families get to the residence halls more directly and efficiently. Please follow the specific instructions below.
Driving Directions to Specific Residence Halls
From the PA Turnpike to Adams Hall/Drayer Hall:
Take the PA Turnpike to exit 226/Route 11.
Merge onto Route 11 (toward Carlisle).
At the town square (junction of Hanover and High Sts.), turn right onto W. High St.
At the third traffic light, turn left onto College St.
Follow signs to the student's assigned residence hall. An officer will direct you to drop off your belongings and park your vehicle.
From the PA Turnpike to all other halls (Armstrong, Atwater, Baird-McClintock, Conway, Davidson-Wilson, Longsdorff, Spradley-Young):
Take the PA Turnpike to exit 226/Route 11.
Merge onto Route 11 (toward Carlisle).

At the third traffic light, turn right onto College St.
Turn left onto W. Louther St.
Follow signs to the student’s assigned residence hall. An officer will direct you to drop off your belongings and park your vehicle.
From I-81 to Adams Hall/Drayer:
Take I-81 to the College St. exit.
Go north on Walnut Bottom Rd.
Turn left onto Belvedere Rd. (25 mph speed limit is enforced.)
At the dead end, turn right onto High St.
At the second traffic light, turn right onto N. College St.
Follow signs to the student’s assigned residence hall. An officer will direct you to drop off your belongings and park your vehicle.
From I-81 to all other halls (Armstrong, Atwater, Baird-McClintock, Conway, Davidson-Wilson, Longsdorff, Spradley-Young):
Take I-81 to the College St. exit.
Go north on Walnut Bottom Rd.
Take a left onto Belvedere Rd. (25 mph speed limit is enforced.)
At the dead end, turn right onto High St.

Turn left onto W. Louther St.
