What is a Lavender Graduation?
An inspiring and affirming ceremony that celebrates the achievements of graduating students in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally (LGBTQ+) community from ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app. We also take the time to recognize members of the LGBTQ+ community with our OUTstanding Service Award for students and faculty, administrators, and staff and allies with our Ally Recognition Awards.
Who participates in our Lavender Graduation?
Recognizing the challenging road to graduation that many students in the LGBTQ+community and their allies face, the ceremony gives graduating students, family, friends, faculty, administrators, peers, allies, and significant supporters the opportunity to holistically embrace each student at the conclusion of their undergraduate journey.
