If you’re a prospective student, we hope to welcome you to campus! The Milton B. Asbell Center for Jewish Life is directly next to the Waidner Admissions House, so make sure to stop by and say hello. If you want to schedule a tour of the Asbell Center ahead of time or would like to have lunch with a student, make sure to email jewishlife@dickinson.edu. How many Jewish students attend Dickinson?
ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app 8-10% of the student body identifies as Jewish.

Is there kosher dining on campus?
We have a kosher/vegan entree line, called the KOVE, in our main dining hall. It is under the supervision of Rabbi Marley Weiner, Executive Director of the Asbell Center for Jewish Life.

Are there local synagogues?
Yes.  is located in Carlisle and uses the Asbell Center. There are also , only 30 minutes away.

Are there resources for Jewish first-years?

Is there Greek life on campus? Are there Jewish Greek organizations?
Dickinson does have some Greek life organizations, but there are no Jewish Greek organizations. While they’re in no way the same thing, we do have Achim (a club for men) and Rosh Chodesh (a club for women) at the Asbell Center.
