Dickinson is collaborating with Forage, a resource that offers virtual, free/unpaid, self-paced modules designed to help students develop skills and gain a real understanding of different roles and sectors through simulated projects. You can work through a series of resources and hypothetical tasks that are designed to simulate the sort of work you would undertake as an intern or a graduate employee at the organization. It's a unique opportunity for you to try out a career at your own pace and in your own time, from the comfort of your home. It takes five to six hours to complete one program and you can complete as many programs as you like. All experiences are completely free of charge for students and graduates from ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app. For international students on an F-1 visa, this resource does not require work authorization! If you have questions about Forage, please contact Amity Fox.
PARKER DEWEY & MICRO-INTERNSHIPS
Dickinson is collaborating with Parker Dewey to help students connect with “micro-internship” opportunities. Micro-internships are short-term, paid, professional projects posted by employers across a wide range of industries. These opportunities typically require 5-40 hours of total remote work across 2-4 weeks. Opportunities are posted on a rolling-basis. Parker Dewey’s micro-internships are a great tool to learn and hone new skills while exploring potential career paths. If you have questions about Parker Dewey, please contact Amity Fox.
