Volunteer Monitoring Specialist

As ALLARM’s Volunteer Monitoring Specialist, I coordinate Stream Team, ALLARM’s monthly volunteer monitoring program with the goal of generating baseline water quality data of a known quality that examine the relationship between land use, geology, and watershed health. I also am the point person for the Chesapeake Monitoring Cooperative (CMC), in which ALLARM is the Pennsylvania and New York service provider and provides technical and programmatic assistance to support the integration of community-collected data in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Additionally, I oversee GIS and mapmaking as tools for data interpretation and provide support to our student watershed coordinators. Outside of ALLARM, I love finding ways to explore the area and spend time outside, whether that’s hanging out by a lake, going on a hike, or scaling a cliff. I also enjoy playing games with friends.
