Below you will find a list of pre-professional internships and field experiences completed by students in the Dickinson in France program for the year, as well as for a semester between 2011 and 2014. Year long students are eligible to complete an internship and receive academic credit. Internships are accompanied by an academic class at the Dickinson Center taught by the Director, and at the end of the year, interns present their final project. Although semester long students are not eligible to complete an internship, they are, however, eligible to complete a field experience. Field experiences are different from internships in that there is no academic course or credit given. Dickinson in France students can participate in either an internship or a field experience to explore other academic interests in a global context, as well as to continue an intercultural and linguistic exchange with the local community.
