Strategic Plan

STRATEGIC PLANS I – III

The strength and viability of our strategic plans have been key to Dickinson’s success over the past two decades.  These plans gave us a shared vision rooted in our historic legacy as well as specific objectives, goals, and benchmarks against which to gauge our performance.  The first plan provided immediate institutional focus, and the second plan deeply ingrained defining characteristics and enabling conditions throughout the institution, the third plan defined a set of challenges and solutions that form a bridge of achievement and high pragmatic ambition between the accomplishments of the past and a competitive and distinguished future.

REPORT ON STRATEGIC DIRECTION (2015-2016)

Prepared during a time of leadership transition, the report acknowledged our strengths and suggested strategic directions.  Informed by our history and responsive to the environment, the report reaffirmed our strong position among liberal arts colleges, our continued commitment to enhancing the Dickinson experience, and our determination to set an ambitious direction for the college.

DEVELOPING OUR STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK AND PRIORITIES 2018-2021

Building on the momentum of our vision and direction set by the prior plans, our new president gathered a group of faculty, students, staff, alumni, and members of the Board of Trustees to determine how we will meet our commitment to an ever-evolving education drawing on our revolutionary past to prepare rising generations for successful, active, informed lives as global leaders.
