Isabella Moes, Economics Major
Izzy Moes ’24 is an Economics major on the Pre-Law track from Elverson, Pennsylvania. She is interested in how economics and environmental policy intersect and has plans to attend law school after graduation with an interest in environmental law. She enjoyed studying the economic implications on climate resilience in the Baird Honors Practicum.
Outside of her coursework, Izzy is involved in Delta Nu, The Liberty Cap Society, and volunteers at Cumberland County Prison treatment library. She has interned at the Cumberland County Courthouse, as well as the Water Resource Association for the Delaware River Basin. She also studied abroad in Norwich, England during Fall ’22. She is thankful for the opportunity to engage in such meaningful work with the other Fellows and hopes to continue to engage with her community throughout the remainder of her time in Carlisle.
