Julie Korgen, Educational Studies Major, Art History and French and Francophone Studies
Julie Korgen is an Educational Studies major, with a concentration in Teaching And Learning. She is also a minor in Art History and French and Francophone Studies.
Throughout her time at Dickinson, she has been involved in the ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app Farm, Club Soccer, the Junkyard Turkeys Ultimate Frisbee team, KDP Education Honors Society, and Delta Nu sorority. Julie holds many leadership positions on campus, as she is the President of KDP, the College Farm’s SEED Coordinator, and co-founder of the Junkyard Turkeys’ Antiracism Subcommittee.
Her extensive leadership experience and campus engagement has allowed Julie to make the most out of her Dickinson experience and prepare herself for a future career in Education. SEED has enabled Julie to create and implement farm-based lesson plans, and coordinate with local schools to plan in-person and online field trips. She wants to continue this work and pursue a Masters in Outdoor Education.
