Neil Leary came to Dickinson in 2008 as the founding director of the Center for Sustainability Education. He has researched climate change vulnerability, adaptation and mitigation for 20 years and led international climate change projects in Africa, Asia and the Americas. He is a member of the editorial board of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), has participated in the scientific assessments of the IPCC since the 1990s, and was a leader of the IPCC's 2001 report on climate change impacts. Before joining Dickinson, Neil was Senior Scientist at the Global Change System for Analysis, Research and Training (START), Senior Economist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and, long ago, Troubleshooter at Merri-Grove Food Coop. Neil received a Ph.D. in natural resource economics from the University of Washington in 1988 and a B.A. from Macalester College in 1980.

Lindsey Lyons has received national attention for her leadership working to embed sustainability across the curriculum. She enjoys working at the intersection of sustainability with education abroad, equity & inclusion and civic engagement. In her tenure at Dickinson, Lindsey has overseen many initiatives that have helped Dickinson secure recognition as a #1 Sierra Magazine Cool School, Princeton Review Green Honor Roll institution and helped Dickinson obtain a Gold Rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). She frequently consults with other colleges and universities about sustainability curriculum and faculty development for sustainability. Before coming to ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app in 2011, she developed natural resource and sustainability initiatives in higher education for Oregon State University and Wilson College. After completing her B.S. in biology from Lynchburg College and a M.S. in environmental education from Southern Oregon University, Lindsey served as a professor of environmental studies at Wilson College and as director of various non-profit education and conservation organizations. Her graduate research focused on the reproductive biology and management of the endangered Devil's Hole pupfish, a model in desert fish conservation. As a certified K-12 teacher, outdoor school creator, former community extension agent for Oregon State University and experiential education advocate, Lindsey understands that education is key to a sustainable future.

Sumaiya started at ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app in 2017. Prior to joining the Center for Sustainability Education, she worked as a Staff Accountant at a global publishing house. She also worked as an Assistant Manager in an audit and accountancy firm for four years in Bangladesh. While working in the audit firm, she also served as a lecturer and trainer in an accounting education institute. Sumaiya received her BSc. (Hons.) in Applied Accounting degree from Oxford Brookes University and Certified Accounting Technician certificate from Sunway University, Malaysia.
