Dickinson is a nationally recognized leader in global education, and through strategic partnerships with CET Academic Programs and the Institute of International Education, we are able to increase our reach and strengthen our impact.
Institute of International Education (IIE)
Dickinson and the Institute of International Education have partnered to provide training opportunities for practitioners, scholars and learners that go beyond cultural awareness education and instead reimagine an international education framework that incorporates global, intercultural and equity inclusion lenses.
To kick off the partnership, Dickinson and IIE developed and ran three Moving from Inclusivity Talk to Equity in Action in International Education Leadership workshops to provide much-needed training opportunities that explore the intersection between intercultural and global learning and diversity, equity and inclusion—work that has been traditionally siloed. The 2021 workshops reached over 200 participants representing 80+ institutions and five countries. Additional workshops and programs are in the works.
