Through a broad range of opportunities, both in and out of the classroom, Dickinson encourages students to explore how they can make a difference in their communities in informed, thoughtful and reciprocal ways.
All divisions of the college offer pathways to civic engagement, such as service learning, community-based research and independent applied research. The college supports a robust range of internships, volunteer service programs and other civic engagement initiatives, including a variety of domestic and international service trips.
