ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app participates in a retirement program underwritten by Teacher's Insurance and Annuity Association and College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA), Fidelity Investments, or a combination of both. Eligibility occurs following the completion of one year of full-time service with the College. After the one-year waiting period, ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app contributes an amount equal to 8% of your base salary.
Retirement Eligibility Status
To attain retired status, an employee must meet one of the following criteria:
• Be age 60 with at least 10 years of service OR
• Have 20 years of service and have reached the age of 55
Retirement Investment Options
Retirement plan investment options include a defined contribution plan and tax deferred annuity plan, with a streamlined investment lineup of options that includes a diversified mix of best-in-class funds intended to meet the needs of the wide variety of participants. Additionally, IRA contributions and saving for retirement healthcare needs are also available through payroll deduction.
IRA Contributions via payroll
All Dickinson college employees are eligible for IRA deductions through payroll deduction. Traditional or Roth IRA's may enable you to put aside additional funds for each year for the future.

Phased Retirement Program
Phased retirement is available to full-time faculty and staff who completed 10 years of service and attained age 55 by July 1, of the current fiscal year. To explore this retirement option, schedule an appointment with Human Resource Services.
