As you progress at Dickinson, you will increase your capacity to immerse yourself in your studies, campus activities, and other commitments. Has your understanding of yourself and your place in the world changed since you arrived on campus? What new perspectives or mindsets have you grown to appreciate? Where can you engage in collaborative work to broaden your viewpoint still further? How will you expand your intellectual, interpersonal, and cross-cultural competencies? 

This is a time to challenge yourself by questioning your assumptions, connecting with others, and sharpening your critical thinking skills. When you do so, you will likely find that your ideas and opinions have evolved since you first arrived at the college—including your views on inquiry, inclusion, and civic engagement—the college’s mission-level priorities.
